I guess I'm turning over a new leaf, or have a year or two ago. so lets see...
I'm an atheisitic evolutionist who for the most part spends time on youtube(when I'm not playing games). most of my videos are on evolution, not all that much on atheism but there are a few. for evolution i mainly just refute creationists videos(anything that isn't a repost of some lecture the guy downloaded, less than 10 minutes, and rarely do i reply to multi-part videos) my style has next to no production value i just use quick capture and use a list of notes that i took while watching the video and respond to each bullet point. my videos that deal with atheism are mostly just answers to "questions for atheists" videos.
So far as the games i play:
Battlefield 1942: I mostly just play the 5thMRC clan server for Midway, one of the few players who actually feel a need to land planes and repair them rather than just jumping out of them.
Space Empires 5: i dabble in it more than actually play it, suffers too much in terms of bad interface and needless complexity.

senator hillary clinton, some one im starting to doubt as a good inteligent person free from the cheap scare the civilian issues
fallowing the release of grand theft auto: san andreas, for the pc, a few modders( people who edit or add things to the game) managed to unlock a minigame that was locked for unknowen reasons. this minigame featured the main character of the game involved in several sexual acts. the only way for this minigame to be accessed is by installing the mod after downloading it, also a little while later a way was found to unlock it on the console( xbox and ps2) versions, which involved gameshark like things,
so in all cases the player actualy has to get up off their lazy ass and do some research to get to this minigame, theres no way to access it or run across it in the game unknowlingly and unwilling. but of course a bunch of anti video game people are burdened with the same lazy ass behavior and lake the ability to research the issue and come to the conslusion that THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL A DUMB KID BELOW THE AGE OF 17 WOULD GET TO THE MINI GAME WITH OUT A LITTLE BIT OF COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE not to mention the fact that the game was already marketed as M by the esrb rating system ( meaning the suggested age is 17) that rating includes a few discriptions of what causes the rating, among them sexual content.
so what does esrb do in response to the mod released which unlocks hidden and unaccessable content in GTA:SA they bump the rating up to AO (adults only, age rang +18) wow a whole year difference, isnt it terrable how many 17 yearolds suffered because we waited too long for this? i mean give me a break, ive seen some screenshots of this minigame and to tell you the truth you can see more action in an R rated movie then GTA:SA
Theres also this young dick whos using GTA:SA as an excuse to why he shot up a bunch of cops in a police station, give me a break, you can hardly tell how to use a gun from GTA:SA the graphics just arnt there, ive played games that give you a much more graphic depiction of guns working and as a few people know from sunday i dont even know how to work those airsoft guns which are supposed to be replicas,
this is just turning out to be one of those "the problem with america today is that darn " what happened to the arguement agenst rap music.... now that i can stand, mainly because i hate most rap music

hay what do you know i decided to write in this thing, so its either im realy bored or something noteworthy, maybe a little of both i guess
so ends my first year of college, it was alright for all those who sees the need to ask me, the attention is nice but realy im not the person to give straght out answeres and this time is no different.
lets see here whats up.... nothing what so ever. my room is a mess from all the stuff that i moved back but hay... im happy to be home and relax. so now im just at home trying to find something to do. for a while ive been watching obscure and sometimes old movies that are on the movie channels, last night hellraiser: hellseeker was on watched that, equalibrum was on a while ago, you know just odd not so main stream movies. im not one to be direct and put down bad movies either, most movies have their good points and bad points. I cant name one movie that i actualy think is terrable. besides i beleave making a movie should be motivated as an artform not a form of income, of course thats why i see no problem in downloading a movie to see it. i mean where those old, long dead artist famous in school text books( lack of spelling ability and motivation to google it prevents me from compileing a list) knowen for makeing money or making art?
games im keeping an eye on but currently do not own or are not currently released:

well, looks like i probably should get around to posting here, first of all my scalp kinda hurts right now... hair tie is pulling my hair out as i type. ive useually been staying up till 2 am lately, just for the hell of it seeing as how im on break. I got my final grades for my first symester at oakland university, appearently i passed all my classes, im just glad i was able to pass my math class. i got stuck in one of the lower level math classes and i need a few more before i could get into any computer classes. which is strange because some how ive managed to understand the in's and out's of computers with out such math knowledge.
at any case the classes that i took so far are a writeing class, a math class, and a lingustics class, suprisingly i had most fun in the lingustics class. my math class sucked totaly because the teacher would try, purposly, to confuse us on quizes and tests, im just glad its behind me for now so thats all ill say regarding that.
hmmm its christmas, and like always i dont have any real set wishes as far as gifts or anything like that, but two come to mind right now.
One: the thing i would like most for christmas is a democratic president, i know kind of a tall order, thats why there are two im mentioning, duh!
Two: grand theft auto san andreas, the problem with that is i dont have a ps2, and the xbox version wont come out till late next year. but hay a guy can dream cant he?
realy all im doing, and planning on doing, is just relaxing at home for a while
like i said its been around midnight to 1am so im to darn lazy to spell check, ya gotta problem with that?
by the way, im pretty sure emily will be over for a bit during christmas, im not sure for how long though, an EX friend of hers decided to apologize for being the standerd brat that she always is( fifth time), now she wants to spend some time with her over christmas
also note, i will be starting back up my internet radiostation, i just got to get around to installing the server software on one of these computers and make sure it keeps running... so untell then theres no definate address for the station, but i will turn it back on for a little while at least lets say from 1:30am to 10pm at the latest, if you wanna listen just search for "Jones Radio" on www.shoutcast.com the full station name at this point is "Jones Radio- real music for real people" (got a better name run it by me i might use it)....... ill set the music it plays to ourlady peace(mostly all of em, missing some from"happiness is not a fish..." ) soul coughing, (i need doughty's mp3s i just got soul coughing ones) sparta(wiretap scars) system of a down(toxicity and self titled) and incubus(make yourself, morning view, and science)

things just suck right now, im starting to lose my mind over it, any more of this and ill end up like a mindless drone. my girlfriends parents are total ass holes. i went over emily's house today, at like eight o' clock we where just relaxing, watching tv, now when we are together we useualy lounge around pretty close to one another, her mother comes in comes up to us and yells "I THINK YOU COULD SIT UP" what the fuck? ive pretty much had it with that bitch, if you cant tell im pretty pissed off at the momement, mainly because i wanted to go over her house with the intention of just spending a day with her, but then i got to put up with those assholes and my girlfriend thinking its her fualt. i just dont have the slightest idea what to do about it all |

hmmm its been over a month sence i posted anything so yah....
so now im at oakland university... my double room is kind of a singel right now... theres two beds and a shared bathroom with the guys next door... kevin, my roommate never showed up. so now i got the hole place to my self... sweet
my classes are pretty laid back... i only have math in the morning mondays wensdays and fridays. then writeing tuesdays and thursdays in the morning and linguistics in the afternoon. there pretty easy also. i just applied for the help desk techniction, my first job. other then that i just spend most of the day in the dorm... sleeping or playing some game... or just listening to some music.(right now im listening to ourlady peace; spirtual mechines) and for some reason IE interfers with winamp so now i just use mozilla/ firefox.
me and emily are still together, niki asked if we were on the rocks. well thats not true, me and emily love eachother vary much. the only thing i dont like is there parents can be assholes some times, they dont trust us, wont leave us alone. also saturday she was helping clean up in the basement. the accidently dropped a printer on the ground and her parents started yelling at her, i mean what the hell? i would just be glad it didnt land on her.
other then that i dont know what to say so ill just end this entry for now... maybe ill right more later, i dont know. the internet connection has been kind of finiky which sucks so maybe i wont get around to posting anything |

well... its monday the day after the party... and im prety tired. i guess i should turn the server for my radio station back on...
in order to listen in you must have winamp or a compatable version of real player. in winamp go to file, open URL, then type in 192.168.0.5:800 with punctuation and all that because winamp needs my ipaddress and the port number which is after the colon

i dont know why but i always end up wakeing up early. like 7:30 am early. probably because ive been wakeing up at 5:00am during highschool and im just used to wakeing up in the early morning.
yesterday i thought i say a hornet in my room. im a compleat wimp when it comes to insects that bite or sting. i dont know why but every year there is always one window that ends up with a hornet or wasp trapped between the glass and the screen. it kinda makes me regret killing all those spiders in my room, only a little bit.
party invitations have been mailed out to my family and friends for my graduation party at markley marina on the 25 i think it is, im not sure. i just wish there was a tv there so we could have a bodakai 2 on the ps2 there. i dont realy watch dragon ball z anymore, but my girlfriend likes is so i got her that game for christmas, everytime we are together we end up playing it, its a prety fun game at times.

ive prety much been vegging for the past few days. lets see... what have i been up to.... ive been playing zelda 64 for a few days, just to actualy finish it this time.... last time i played it i couldnt get past that damn fish level. also i got supersmash brothers on my computer, a ton a nintendo and supernintendo games, as well as a few GBA games. just finished downloading simcity 4. realised i need a better processor, that game is way to slow.
so anyway.... my week is turning out to be somewhat relaxing... so yah |

yet another boreing week i guess. i went over to emily's saturday. just had to go over her aunte's house for a while and watch tv and what not. and sunday i went to see spiderman two. it was better then the first one, somewhat. and today im going out on the boat somewhere... so yah.
thursday ill have to go to oaklend university for some stay over night orientation thing. other then that the week should be somewhat relaxing i guess.
i downloaded simtower the other day. just for the sake that i was bored and hay, its a classic. its not vary often that you could download a game that has everything in it. i also downloaded warcraft 3 which was an ok game, i never realy payed attention to the other warcraft games though. the one thing i like about it is a hidden ingame movie that is played during the credits, which they show a number of things from starcraft actualy using the warcraft 3 engine which makes the starcraft things 3d, or rather polygonal. |

all i did yesterday and the majority of this morning was just play warcraft 3. which i just downloaded the whole game a few days ago. i realy like the game. four different races to control with there own strengths and weaknesses which make the game alot more interesting then some of the other strategy that base the units abilitys on a rock paper scissors type of thing. i got through like two of the four campaigns before haveing to use cheat codes to get any further. i mostly just used god mode, which makes all the units invinceable and gives them like one hit kills. i like it because all the games ive played involves units just hitting eachother with swards for like ten minutes. i want a bloody game. a game where i can send a guy with a sward through like a crowd of fifty guys and see him just run through hacking off peices of everybody, with blood on the ground and everything. i guess to sum it up i want a violent strategy game. more violent then GTA3 has been considered.
i ate dinner on the boat yesterday... apperantly after i got home dad slipped off the dock and lost a bunch of stuff he was carrieing. hes ok though.
also my favorite internet radio show is on tonight, PTR. because if its not sex, and if its booze, then its Probably Tech Related. it starts at 8:00pm unless their ISP decides to take a dump on them |

penny arcade seemed a heck of a lot funnier back in the day.... and i dont know why that is. but now a days the new comics just seem so-so to me.
and for some odd ball reason i decided to start playing simcity 3000 again. which reminds me that the sims 2 is being made. the biggest features in the game are ageing and genes. basicly the sims will actually age throughout the game, and when they have kids they will have similar looks and base personality to their parents. the only thing i dont like about the sims 2 is that, so far, they decided to disable weather in the game. this was because it can be seen raining inside the house.
i wound up digging up a few mighty max toy sets from boxes when i was looking for some specific lego parts.so i decided to download the old MM tv episodes but the problem is theres nobody on kazaa that has anything good available for download, i dont know why either...RIAA. now im going to have to find another file shareing program to use that actualy has people sharing files.
tim and deb stoped by yesterday. appearently willie has a nack for screwing up their computer to the point where their ISP decides to cut of service. he never was too bright. |

ah, ok. a little update on the situation with my lover, she appearently just spent the day at her sister's house and ended up getting mad at her. so yah...
appearently im going to go see that farenheit 9/11 movie by michle moore(i know, i know my spelling sucks at some words) tomarrow. i liked the bolwing for columbine movie. i espically liked the little cartoon thing explaining american history.
it looks like my mom finally decided to do some laundry. after like a week might i add. it kind of annoys me when she forget to do something that she useually does during the weekend. because we allways end up either not haveing anything good to snack on when she dosnt go shopping for the week. or we end up haveing to dig through our hampers to find the lest dirty of the dirty cloths to wear for the day. this has been happening a lot more often these days. this is because my dad and uncle decided to get a boat. now my parents are spending more time on the boat then at home. some alone time is good. but when it starts to effect the above mentioned rutines it stats to get vary annoying.

well well... yes i know... its about time i started this whole live journal thing.
ok... so where to start? ummm ah i know
my name is james jones i live in michigan currently and i am a recent highschool graduate. i suppose ill post a picture some time, some day, or something like that. but thats for later.
currently my room is a compleate mess... but it like it that way. my favorite comedian says "dont pick shit up. because chances, are when you need it its going to be right where you left it." i am also trying to think about what i should do right now. i dont know what happened to my girlfriend. she was on yahoo yesterday morning. but she hasnt been on sence. and thats not like her. i dont know... if i dont see her before tomarrow afternoon ill call her and see whats going on... probably something dumb like haveing to go over to her sister's, or sleeping over at a friends house. im going to have to go for the sister option. her parents seem to have problems letting go... she was once "forced" to decline a request to spend time with me because her parents wanted to take her with them for a car show or something along those lines, and said, she needs the exercise. now ill admit that in my girlfriends state some exercise would do her good, but who are they to say what she needs? i mean she is 18 and they still are overprotective like shes like 12 or something.
hmmm its raining outside right now. i love when it rains. i dont know why though. maybe because it reflects my overall state of mind, and comforts me. im 18 right now and i have no idea where im going or what i will be doing... i just know that i will end up slamming in to what ever it is like a train into a stalled car. atleast the people in the car have some vague conception of whats comming. where as i dont know anything about whats comming. like wildlife on the street, they dont know what a street is used for, all they see is soft dirt ground, hard rock like ground.
but what ever... i always tend to ramble on when i do stuff like journals and situational based posts. i dont know why though. well maybe ill post some more stuff later today, or tomarrow |
